Extended Day School (EDS)

The Extended Day School (EDS) is designed to meet the needs of St. Raymond School families by providing care before and beyond the regular school day in a safe and familiar environment. Students in preschool through 8th grade can attend on a daily or as-needed basis.

Dates + Hours of Operation

EDS runs from 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. The program is available to our students each day school is in session, except the first and last day of school and early dismissal days.

Structure

Before school EDS runs from 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM. Students from all grades are able to spend this time reading, working on homework, playing and preparing for the school day. At 7:30 AM, the students in EDS go to their classrooms.

After school EDS runs from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Students are given the opportunity to complete their homework assignments, with program staff providing assistance as needed. Students may also play with games and toys, participate in teacher-led activities and socialize with peers and adults. Students often go to the gym and, weather permitting, spend time outside. A snack is provided.
